Junior IT Support Specialist

As a talented IT Support Specialist you will provide enterprise-level assistance to our users! You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our users install applications and programs. Your responsibilities will include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connection to provide immediate support. One of your responsibilities will be to provide clear written instructions and technical manuals.

As IT Support Specialist you will be the one our users trust, they rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.

6 300 - 9 450 PLN Salary Range

Your responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of our internal customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
  • Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues.
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Take part in the purchasing process.
  • Hardware and software asset management.

Your tasks

  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
  • Ask our internal customers questions in order to quickly understand the root of the problem.
  • Talk with users through a series of actions either via slack, phone, emails until they've solved a technical issue.
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged.
  • Prioritise and manage your own tasks.
  • Purchase new hardware and software for our users.
  • Manage software and hardware assets.

Your profile

  • Proven work experience on similar role or strong will to develop yourself on such position.
  • Fluent Polish and English language skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other technical products.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software (eg. AnyDesk).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Pragmatic and problem-solving attitude.
  • Good skills at writing / editing documentation.
